About
It’s about bloody time I got around to creating this site!
I, the creator of this site, am Fred Mitchell, and old hat at computer systems going back to the late 70’s. I have done something with a little bit of “everything” (and a lot on some), starting out with the Apple ][ and TRS 80 up to mainframes and whatnot. I’ve done stuff with the Commodore 64, was a huge Amiga geek in its heyday , stooped low enough to do Windows development for a while, and have now moved on to Linux.
Here I intend to present many things, mostly having to do with Linux, and may occasionally veer “off topic” into other areas of interest, like mathematics or genetics or quantum physics or cosmology, so bear with me. I’ll try to save the other stuff for more relevant sites I run, though will mention them here if they relate some way to Linux or OpenSource.
So enjoy my site and feel free to leave your comments!
